2 Days to departure, or how are the best ways to deal with stressful situations???

The departure date approacheth - and so far... have had credit card cancelled due to attempted America withdrawal of $3500 (like I had that much in that account anyway - can anyone say 'Visa DEBIT), and now have to wait and see if new card arrives by Friday by Express post... Still have no washing machine due to bathroom/laundry renos... Bruce is the world's best plumber, but does not understand the urge to wash clothes prior to packing them... Also have had to contend with the less-than-impressive electricians who replaced the power point which had the chest freezer plugged into it - and neglected to re-plug said freezer... Luckily, (hot) boss electrician advised us to estimate the cost of freezer contents and he says he will take it off the bill. Now all I have to worry about is packing my stuff and not losing my mind at the airport...

Eleven days and counting...

Accommodation: check.

Flights: check.

Passport: check.

Panicked OS travel virgin: check...
